"Our neighborhood is fairly quiet though you can sometimes hear the gun range at the rod and gun club if you are outside. People are friendly but most often keep to themselves. It's close to shopping and amenities but feels removed from town."
  • Send2tc
"There are a lot of things to do in Gardner. We have a lot of community events, movie theater, bowling. We have a beautiful library. There are many parks and a city pool. We have a state park at Dunn pond where you can go swimming and have a BBQ."
  • Mlpowers13
"I've lived in Gardner since 2003 and find it to be a nice area overall with lots of recreational areas both within the town itself and in the surrounding towns. Like most communities, some parts of town have aged a little better than others but it is generally a pleasant mid-sized town."
  • Barbiedoll93066
"I have s car but there is a Mart bus (city bus) that stops here and has several destinations. It is reliable and not expensive for someone who doesn’t mind going when the schedule fits your needs. "
  • Send2tc

"Quick access to Route 2, short commute to NH cities or Worcester within 45 minutes with little traffic to work. Nearby mountain to ski wn 10 minutes. 50 miles to Boston "
  • Ajpisces30
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 12 years and I just want to get away. It is a nightmare especially in the summer. A lot of drama and nonsense."
  • Ajpisces30
"I live in my neighborhood for 12 years but I hate the drama and just want to move somewhere else. It is low income but the neighbors are trouble and I don’t want my kids here anymore."
  • Knee1
"Friendly neighborhood of mixed ages, familes, couples and retirees."
  • Deb E.
"Gardner is a small town which has everything, really. Town comes complete with a large park & some smaller ones; good schools, plenty of churches, shopping, an indoor & outdoor pool; a skating rink, 2 bowling alleys, some decent restaurants, a Wal-Mart, car repair shops, all major fast food type places, etc. For a little dot on the map, its got alot. If you live in town, you can walk to most of the major stuff. Public transportation is just adequate. Not a great hot spot for entertainment or nightlife; go to Worcester for that. A nice little family town; it needs to stay that way"
