10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo not move to Westfield! All Westfield schools are overcrowded, with the highschool being the worst. The highschool is so crowded with almost 3000 students (and growing) that the 9-10 graders do not get a locker, so the students have to carry all of their belongings with them as they literally run from one end to the other. The classes are regularly being subbed so the flow in teaching is always miniscule. The teachers that are supposed to watch students during lunch periods are too busy chatting with others to see outright physical attacks made on students by students, which did happen to one of my kids. ICP classes are all full so students do not get the extra tutoring that the school keeps relying on to overcome the miniscule sub teaching. But yet the Administration is overly concerned about my kids being legitimately sick & off school even though they both get A's & B's; if the school demanded that all kids with s/s of illness use hand sanitizer & wear disposable masks to lessen disease from spreading, then maybe kids will get sick less and miss less days. On a different tangent, Westfield Government is allowing more unaffordable apartments to be built instead of single-family housing, which is adding to the overcrowding of Westfield as a whole, and changing all intersections into roundabouts as they've been doing does not fix the problem. We highly regret our decision to build & move to Westfield.Parent Review5mo ago16 Reviews - Check out schools near 1358 Beacon Way E.

"Everyone seems to have a dog and walk them often! We’re only allowed 2 dogs in my condo but people who own their own homes often have three and have fenced in yards for dogs to play in. We also have a dog park in Carmel."

"Carmel is definitely the best city I’ve ever lived in! It has the most amazing school system and I’ve literally experienced zero crime since being here. I can let my girls walk on the Monon trail throughout Carmel and not worry about them and my eight-year-old can ride her bike up and down our street with no fear of anything happening to her! I would never ever leave Carmel! And neighbors are the best definitely look out for one another! "

"Extremely safe and feel at ease letting my 8yr old play outside ! Never ever had any issues what so ever w crime. Super close to any and everything u could possibly need as far as shopping etc.. the schools are best in the state and teachers are amazing, also right on the monon trail almost anywhere in Carmel u live is a few min walk to the trail which is also very safe ! Our neighborhood has block parties and holiday parties ! Would highly recommend anyone to move here. Only negative is that it’s of course quite costly to live here but I guess if u couldn’t afford it u wouldn’t be here looking into moving here!! "

"Great parks and libraries, the best public schools in the Midwest, and very safe community. I would have no issues letting my kids play outside late or biking far distances as this is a very family focused community. Farmers market on weekends. And lots of amazing restaurants and wineries. Also great holiday events and festivals such as forth of July celebrations and annual street art festivals with vendors. "

"I moved from Los Angeles; so what they call traffic here is cute! It is a lot of side streets. The main problem is that Hoosiers love to run red lights because of no traffic cameras, it’s annoying. "

"The traffic is horrible and construction is nonstop. Indy has 1 million people but one beltway around the city that is full of potholes, debris on shoulders, and roadway too small to handle growth and commute from Carmel and Fishers into Indy."

There are many organized community events planned throughout the year from the year-round Carmel Farmer’s Market, activities in the Carmel Arts and Design district, the holiday Christkindlmarket and winter ice skating at Center Green, there is always something to do."
