"Neighborhood watch is a big deal here and we got neighborhood apps that only the neighbors are on it’s real peaceful and barely any crime "
  • corey618
"It’s a great area to raise your kids! So many kids and the parks are such a great place to go on walks and play tennis and other outdoor activities. "
  • Missichelle
"Quiet little neighborhood close to food and entertainment. We are able to have animals. Great school district "
  • Trulia User
"I dislike living in Decatur. The only good thing about it so far is that it is cheap to live here, but I do not feel safe when I'm out of the house. I constantly have to worry if my car will be stolen or vandalized while I'm not paying attention. I constantly hear gunshots at night, emergency vehicle sirens, noisy train horns, people getting into loud arguments and fistfights, it seems like it never stops. The air in Decatur reeks like cheap dog food if you're lucky, and like a wastewater treatment plant if you're not."
  • Scott-jill N.
"Well maintained neighborhood featuring large homes with lots of kids.area is close to shopping, interstate access. Small town schools"
  • Sunshine F.
"there's a nice park near by, as well as a zoo and the children's museum. however our neighbors are very conservative"
