Close to numerous restaurants, grocery stores, and other places that you like to shop at. A quick drive across the Thomas Johnson bridge for more stores which is very convenient! The Vice Principal disregards parents/students concerns to gain whatever little acceptance he can get from teachers. During our initial interaction, I felt as if I was speaking to a brick wall. It bothers me that there are frequent fights at this school, yet when I spoke to administration, I was told that fights rarely occur. I have recordings from both of my children that attend PHS. Academically, this school is great, but there needs to be significant improvement with bullying. The kids are unruly, can't keep their hands to themselves, curse and uses racial slurs as if it's nothing wrong with it. When you report it the Principal downplay it as if it's harmless. The school celebrate every holiday, culture and religion but does nothing at all for black History month teaching the kids of color nothing in reference to their own kind.
