Most of the reviews here are old. The school now has a new principal who was a former teacher and who is excellent. This is very much a community school and I am incredibly impressed with their focus on social emotional growth and positive behavior. My child loves school and so far every teacher is excellent. There is also a very active parent support between an active PTA that provides lots of community activities for families, free parenting classes, and a resource staff that connects families to services (veggie boxes, free hike helmets, etc..) I also have to commend the afterschool programs. The one our child goes to is top notch and the staff are very professional and wonderful with the kiddos.

"Almost everyone has a dog here. Plenty of places to walk your dog. Neighborhood feels safe. Most people pick up after their dogs. "

"About 30 minutes through a nice mountainous scenery. Little traffic maybe. Pretty descent drive. But I would like to be closer to my work."

"Very safe area and close to all schools. People look out for each other. I walk and bike everywhere at all times and feel very safe. It is very beautiful around here with lots of healthy activities for all ages. "

"Felon is a small town in the redwoods next to Silicon Valley. Excellent schools and community, amazing parks and close to Santa Cruz beaches. We moved here last year and our kids (and adults) never want to live anywhere else."
