Enjoy local bike trails as well as bike paths north to Santa Barbara, south to LA and east to Ojai and Santa Clarita. Local breweries, local restaurants, ice cream, all within walking distance.

The Ventura Harbor is home to the Channel Islands National Park Museum where you can book an excursion to the Channel Islands. At the harbor there are local restaurants offering local seafood and other cuisines. Shop at the cute boutiques, grab a bikini, ice cream cone or sample local wines. All within a 2.5 mile bike, walk or run from the beachhouse.

Ventura is the best kept secret on the west coast.
