Description

Address: 1345 S Capitol St SW, Washington DC, 20003 Spacious and Bright One Bedroom Apartment in Navy Yard Looking for someone to take over the lease of our spacious and light-filled one bedroom apartment in Navy Yard. We have loved every minute of our almost three years here but we just bought a house so it is time for us to say goodbye. The building is amazing and our one bedroom unit is WAY bigger and more affordable than what you can typically get in Navy Yard (trust us, we toured almost every building in the neighborhood). And since we've been living here for so long, our rent is significantly lower than the current market rate for similar units in our building. Our current rent is $2,148 per month plus $100 for internet and cable, and the lease ends March 28, 2021. Other utilities are not included. If you are interested, there will be an application fee of $75 per applicant, and an amenity fee of $100 per applicant that will be paid to the management of the building. The move in date is flexible. You can move in anytime between March 20, 2020 and April 30, 2020 - the earlier the better. Some of our favorite things about the apartment include the huge windows, large modern kitchen, the rooftop with pool and grills and a view of the capitol, and the building's amazing staff. The apartment is really big and bright with tons of storage. The rooftop provides amazing outdoor space that we have used just about every day in the warmer months. The reception staff are all very friendly helpful and the maintenance staff, on the rare occasions that we need it, respond to issues right away. There is a parking garage, but the address is also eligible for on-street parking permits, which is what we use since it's only $30 per year. We're usually able to find parking within a block or two from the building. The building is also very pet friendly. The location is amazing! The building is a five minute walk to Navy Yard Metro Station. You're walking distance to all the great restaurants that Navy Yard and the Wharf have to offer. And there are exciting events happening at both Navy Yard and the Wharf just about every weekend. The closest grocery store is Harris Teeter, but there's also a Whole Foods and Safeway within walking distance. Unit amenities include:
Central air conditioning
Silestone countertops
Stainless steel appliances
Dishwasher
Full-size washer and dryer
Spacious walk-in closet
9 foot ceilings
Energy-efficient double-paned windows
Soaking tub with armrest
USB wall outlets in living & bedrooms
ARIA built-in speakers Building amenities include:
24-hour Concierge service
Rooftop with swimming pool, gas grills, and stunning views of the Capitol, Washington Monument, Nationals Park and waterfront scenery.
Large fitness center with tons of equipment
Game room/lounge with pool table and flat screen tv
Controlled access parking garage
Bike storage
Dog park
Pet grooming station

Our current rent is $2,148 per month plus $100 for internet and cable, and the lease ends March 28, 2021. Other utilities are not included.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
