8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is kindergarten but our experience so far has been great. Every employee of the school has been so helpful as we have navigated this transition as a family. They are always kind and caring and smiling. I would reccomend this school to anyone!Parent Review5mo ago3 Reviews - Col John O Ensor Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school prioritizes grades over mental health and is negligent. The teachers there drain the spark of curiosity out of every child and only cares about their outer appearance. When they aren’t at the top, they berate students for not meeting standards. On the negligence aspect, when a student is being harassed, they either do nothing or the bare minimum. I’ve seen children bullied for skin color, learning disabilities, appearance, and more. You can do better than this school.Student Review2y ago8 Reviews - Eastlake High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTHIS SCHOOL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT STUDENTS!! Admin only care when their precious checks will be depleted when attendance is messed up. I went to eastlake for my freshman through junior years before i had to move due to my father finding a job out in Houston. When my mother tried taking me out of EHS, theyl woman on the phone would repeatedly act like if us moving was not a good reason to move us out the school and insisted on keeping me and my sister there while responding rudely to her when my mother was just trying to figure out how to pull us out. I had an ABUNDANCE amount of friends even have experiences with horrible teachers who, despite efforts to make up grades and do extra work, would fail and refuse to put in grades, causing their scores to drop. Theyd do this untill they had gone as far as co add APs and yet one of my friends was ignored. he should be walking with the class of 2025 but is held back because the admin refused to listen to him AND HIS MOTHER. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I am trying to spread this out to any parent listening and considering to put their child here. THE PRINCIPAL ONLY CARES ABOUT HIS FOOTBALL TEAMS. THE TEACHERS HOLD BIASES. Of course, not every student is in the right and not every teacher is the problem but the admin dont do anything to help the students! It is almost impossible to hold a meeting with counselors. It is so embarrassing at the length I and my friends had to go through just to be heard by the admin. I do understand they may be busy, but to where they cant reach out to you for help for a WHOLE SCHOOL YEAR? WITH PARENT INTERVENTION? It is embarrassing and I dont understand how they can go through their days believing theyre doing their best when they dont even bother reaching out, and if they do its always a "we cant do anything." These are the school counselors and assistant principals here. They should have that push to know why their students are failing and begging for their help, but they dont. I am lucky to know I went to a more positive school for my senior year where students are heard and is so easy to access Ap's and counselors for help and show that it is possible to ask for help without being shut down and being refused to walk. EHS is unorganized, very last minute and the worst decision to bring your kid to. I hope they start to better their school in the future. Coming from a now ex student and current 2025 graduates from EHS, please highly consider your options and fight for your child here.Other Review10mo ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 13405 Emerald Pass Ave.

"Lots of traffic with idiot drivers all over the place driving like we’re playing bumper cars. Oh, and because of all the uninsured foreigners driving here plus sandstorms, your insurance will jump up just for moving here."

"The commute is fine but services are appalling. I moved to El Paso and I had to hire three different companies just to finish an irrigation job. I will be moving away as soon as I can. "

"Family friendly neighborhood, Summerlin park is nearby for kids to enjoy. I usually run in the mornings with my dog and for the most part it’s really good area to run alone at night. One downside is probably the stray dogs. "

"Quiet, private neighborhood. Neighbors are nice but keep to themselves which is a plus. Beautiful nearby parks, close to everything. Only downside is the traffic on Artcraft sometimes. But otherwise, we love this neighborhood!"

"Commute is fairly easy to Biggs AAF. There are many schools in the area, more than 1 every square mile I’d say, so sometimes that impacts morning commutes during those times. Great for families that need to take their children to school, however. "
