About this House

We are offering for rent a recently updated, 1+ bedroom, charming cottage in the Hess Lake community within Grant Michigan -commutable to Grand Rapids and Fremont. This cottage has been recently updated with new plumbing, bathroom, electric, natural gas furnace, insulation, gas stove, flooring & paint.

The living room and dining room offers plenty of space, but the bedroom is small and will only fit a full-sized bed. There is a second "bedroom" that will fit a twin but is probably better suited as an office. There is also a newly added storage room complete with washer and dryer hookups (natural gas).

The lot is beautiful with lots of trees and ivy, very easy to maintain as there is little or no grass. The mailbox and mailing address of this cottage is Hess Lake Drive, however the cottage is located one street off of Hess Lake Drive.

Tenant pays for natural gas, electric and internet. The property has a well and septic so there is no water/sewer bill. The driveway can accommodate two vehicles and as a private road, there is only room for one car to park on street at the end of the road.

Pets are approved on a case-by-case basis. There is no smoking of any substance in the home, but smoking is allowed outside.

Minimum qualifications include, but are not limited to, verifiable gross income from all sources of at least 3x rent, a credit score of 580 or higher, zero evictions, if income is from employment, a minimum of 6 months of history at the same job or industry.
