6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHad high hopes when we moved here. The town itself was perfect. Everyone riding bikes to school, Walking to school and just the ease of kids enjoying themselves after school at local establishments walking distance from school. Having a cross guard for Main Street shows the town officials care. Now get inside the HS….it’s a whole diff issue. They are understaffed, teachers lacking the capability to work w teenagers and they had a principal who was focused on becoming superintendent and her local sing career than doing what it right. They give more rights to criminal kids, fur kids (yep you read that right) FURRIES. Kids who are allowed to come to school in animal costumes, speak in animal sounds and completely disrupt classes. They have a football staff that is total daddy ball and do nothing to stop bullying amongst the team. Parents have tried to step up and complain and their fix-all parties can’t play a game or two. Drugs run wild in the school, fights in parking lot. Countless car accidents in parking lot. Staff walks around w blinders on. There for the paycheck. We moved here almost four year's ago from Fort Collins and I honestly have seen a big difference in our kid's well being and test scores. Anytime we have a small issue with other kid's they are quick to respond and resolve the issue in a timely manner! And they have alot of fun activities during year for families. "As long as they pick up after their pets, I feel they would be fine in any neighborhood. There is alot of people with money her so that means that lawn care providers spray lawns and dont always place signs that lawns were just treated. There are a bunch of puppies so parco has been an issue. That what I've seen living here for 8 years plus."

"It’s a quiet neighborhood close to everything you need. Two grocery stores are within walking distance as well as many restaurants and a gym. It’s located by a school though I’ve been told it’s pretty rough there. Great location during the 4th of July. Can walk or drive right over to where they’re shooting off the fireworks. During the winter, it’s relatively quiet and not much neighborhood togetherness but people are typically pretty friendly. There is glass on the street. I suspect from drinking the night before. It’s safe, but I wouldn’t let kids play outside by themselves... "
