About this House

Available starting July 14th, a luxury, fully furnished, one-bedroom/bath apartment with your own private and keyless entrance for $1850. Being a newly remodeled residence, everything is super clean and in fantastic shape. As stated, this apartment comes fully furnished and is move in ready. The utilities (gas, water, Fios high speed internet, and electric) are included, and Wi-Fi, with your own private network, is also provided. The living room has a super comfy Lovesac couch, entertainment stand w/ 55 in HD TV and Roku, storage shelf area, full-length mirror, coat hook rack by the door, and a small desk w/ office chair. There's also a small bar top table and two chairs for eating at. Additionally, there's a full-size washer and dryer in the utility closet and a small amount of space for storage. The bedroom comes with a queen-size Tempur-Pedic bed, white oak dresser w/ 5 drawers, and a 32 in wall-mounted TV w/ Roku. The closet has a custom Elfa storage system from the Container Store which allows for double the hanging space. Finally, the large window has a pull-down shade, which can either let through diffuse light or totally blackout. The kitchen is ready for cooking and comes with utensils, pots, pans, plates, and glasses. Some of these are stored on beautiful open shelving made of oak which provides plenty of storage space. There's a full-size electric stove, microwave, and fridge for all your culinary needs. There is easy access out the back door to throw away trash and recycling. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood only two blocks from the H St NE corridor, where you can enjoy a variety of bars, restaurants, gyms, and yoga studios. For grocery shopping, and within walking distance, is Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Giant, Safeway, and Aldi. Gallaudet University is only a few blocks away along with Union Market, and our favorite pizzeria, Stellina! Union Station isn't too far and is accessible via the free trolley. Street parking is an option and doesn't require a residential parking permit. However, if you have an out of state license plate, you would need to get that changed, otherwise the city will eventually give you a ticket for not having a DC plate. We live in the separate upstairs area along with our two cats, which is connected to the advertised unit via a locked and sound proofed door. Initial lease length is for 6 months. A security deposit of one month's rent, plus the first months rent, would be required to start a lease. In summary: - Quiet location and fantastic area - Front and back private keyless entrances - In unit washer and drier - Fully equipped kitchen - Separate bedroom w/ queen-size bed - Full bathroom - Easy to clean tile floor - Quality furniture (e.g., Tempur-Pedic mattress, Lovesac couch, TV's, and oak furniture) - Flat rate utilities - No smoking Contact us for a tour of the apartment or visit during our open house on the 14th of July 1-3 pm

Utilities are included.
