Parks in quantity including a state park 15 minutes away. Transportation a breeze with I-10 and many FM highways. This is a gem of a city."

Recreation department is outstanding and if you have proof of residency then it is free!! Schools are some of the top in Calcasieu Parish. City and parish maintain roads and drainage. Neighbors seem to really care about each other. Westlake is just an all around nice place to raise a family..."
