Description

This home presents a terrific combination of living in small town historic America while at the same time enjoying the modern amenities of a post 2000 floor plan. This stone fronted, vinyl sided townhome offers near maintenance free living with 2.5 baths, 3 BRs, an open floor plan, plenty of closets and a trim package that will wow your guests. Hardwood throughout the first floor gives way to marble in the Powder Room. The Family Room has a gas FP with a marble surround inside a wood mantle and surround. It is all OPEN to the kitchen and breakfast area. The first floor millwork package includes fluted columns (2), glass transoms (2), tall windows (3 panes over 3) w sills, Atlanta trim around all windows & doors. The Kitchen includes GE Profile and Kenmore appliances, a 4 burner gas range, a 5 shelf pantry closet and a beautiful rope crown detail on the Upper cabinets. The DR has a 2 pc chair rail w shadow boxing below, a ceiling medallion, two cased wood openings w glass transoms and 2 pc crown molding. That 2 pc crown (crown w panel molding dropped down 4") runs through the FR, DR, hallway and LR. The entire first floor has 9" wood baseboards. There is a coat closet AND a broom closet AND a pantry closet. All this in a 9' first floor! All this in a town setting where you can walk to your paper and coffee! Or you can walk your Ipad to your coffee if you are so inclined. You are IN Langhorne, not a community of townhomes!! Add to this a full concrete basement w double bowl work sink, gas fired heat and hot water and steel I beam construction. This home is only 14 years old so you are not dealing w outdated mechanicals or tough to use rooms, closets or stairs. The second floor offers today's MBR. It has a full bath w separate tub & shower, a double door entry, a WIC and a vaulted ceiling. Two other BRs, a hall bath, a Laundry and a Linen Closet complete the second floor. And we are not done ..no we are not. A shared driveway leads to a detached garage in the back. It provides privacy to the rear paver brick patio w stone wall and walkway and has a 1/2 hp Liftmaster opener. The front entry is set off, again, by a paver pad and front walkway. Gutter Guards. Wonderfully landscaped front and rear....this is one home to see.

"It’s a nice neighborhood. Very quiet and calm. Not alot of noise and theres little to no crime. Its a safe place to raise kids "
  • Trulia User
"I have lived here for 15 years. Nice, quiet neighborhood. No HOA. Three nearby farms with wonderful holiday events. Elementary and middle school across the road. More kids live in this neighborhood now compared to 15 years ago. The train is loud - septa and freight about a mile away. Several county and state parks well maintained. New walking paths going in as I type. Beautiful lake and canal/tow path nearby as well as Delaware River. Very historical area. Despite what some say, this neighborhood sees little activity on Halloween. Close to all major roadways with access to NYC, the Jersey shore, the Pocono Mountains, etc. within 90 minutes. Great area! "
  • Jordan Forbes

  • Willsjoy
"Very responsible dog owners here, low traffic. Nice safe area for pets, however not a lot of public green space. Why do we need to type a 100 word review, that is very annoying and time wasting "
  • Bigbangdesigns2013
