7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Centerville Schools from kindergarten all the way through graduation and after a year of college, I can confidently say that I was beyond prepared for life after graduation. Centerville not only established my firm foundation of academics, but also life skills such as building relationships and a desire to give back to the community. I currently go to a top university, and I feel that my experiences at Centerville thoroughly prepares me for my new life. Not only does Centerville offer a wide expansion of classes, but the fact that every student has the opportunity to get involved with any desired extracurricular activity creates such a diverse and nurturing environment.Although I went through many difficult classes and complained quite a bit while I was a student at Centerville, I can wholeheartedly say that everything was worth it. The environment that is created at the school is truly designed for ultimate growth, both as. student and as a person.Other Review2y ago - Driscoll Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended Driscoll for 4th and 5th grade. We are a military family and have been to seven total elementary schools. The education at Driscoll was amazing. The classes are not too big and the teachers are not overwhelmed with too many kids. The students switch classes for math, science, language arts, and social studies so they are ready for middle school. The equity score is posted as low, but the school is diverse and in a relatively affluent neighborhood which is likely what is affecting the score. The principal knows the kids by name and even called me in the summer to learn more about my daughter- likes, interests, personality, etc - so she could better place her as far as classes. All in all an amazing school and we will definitely miss it! Don’t let the “5” score dissuade you. The score is the average of the three metrics and equity is low because Centerville is generally a more affluent city.Parent Review1y ago - Tower Heights Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student myself, I am in love with this school. The teachers are likable but some of the subs and the school librarian I just can't stand because of how grumpy or unfair and not because of the students but I'm telling you, they will act grumpy on purpose! My teachers teach us in different ways and they give us different experiences which I'm fond of, THMS also has lots of fun activities/school stuff. Overall, THMS is still a great school even with the unbearable subs and the mean librarian! :) The school doesn't handle bullying well, to be honest, many girls got bullied by this guy and most of them reported to the school principal but he didn't do much besides talk to that guy for like 10 seconds and then leave.Student Review2y ago - Centerville Primary Village North

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have a 1st grader, and so far the online classes have been kindergarten content, but I'm willing to give that a pass since I can imagine its hard to teach to a group of young kids over the internet. It was a little disheartening that the teachers didn't let the students have time to talk to each other in the mornings though. Anyway, first day of in-person schooling is resuming since covid started, and the bus that was supposed to pick us up was at the wrong location, so we started to move toward it (we were approaching from the front of the bus, so the driver had to have seen us) and then the driver just pulls away after having not waited more than 30 seconds. I was completely blown away by this! Anyway, I call the office about 10 mins later to make sure I had the right information on where the pick up location, and they were a bit rude. They referred me to the transportation division (can't recall the exact name) so I called them. The lady there was very rude. One part of me gets it- first day of going back to school, I can imagine theyre pretty busy and I'd hate to bother them with this right now, but this also really sets me back because now I have to make an unplanned trip to take the little one in for what was no fault of my own, and I was hoping the bus driver could return or something because I have to get to work on time myself. So far, haven't loved this district. Unless I see major improvements with the in-person classes, will most likely be looking into private schooling, or something else, next yearParent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 1308 Norwich Ln.

"Typical Ohio suburb. Virtually crime free. Very conventional population. Very few progressives. City is quick to fine you for putting your garbage can in the wrong place or parking a trailer in your driveway. High rated schools but no school choice like you get in a decent sized city. It's a safe place to live and a good place to invest but it's pretty boring. The parks and forests are gorgeous, but there's nothing else to do here besides go shopping."
