I've been a Los Alamitos parent for the past 4 years, and I couldn't be more grateful for the incredible experience my children have had. The teaching staff here is outstanding, and the sense of community is unmatched. My girls have received exceptional support through IEP and 504 plans, as well as counseling services, which have been pivotal in their academic and personal growth. Each year, I’ve seen them perform better, becoming more confident and resilient.One thing that always amazes me is how my children consistently say that their current teacher is the best they've ever had—a true testament to the quality of the educators at Los Alamitos. The PTA is also incredibly involved and active, funding music, science programs, camps, and so much more each year, enriching the educational experience for all students.Mr. Rousseau, the principal, along with many of the long-standing teachers and administration, has been a cornerstone of this school for years. Their leadership and unwavering support have been crucial in shaping my children’s education and overall development.As I write this in 2024, marking the 50th year since the school's founding, I reflect on how fortunate we are to be part of such a fantastic community. While my elder child will move on to middle school in 2025, I'm excited to continue being a part of Los Alamitos Elementary for another 3 years with my younger child. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to any parent seeking a nurturing and supportive environment for their children.
