Estate Los Arboles is a sub-divison located in the Northwood neighborhood, sometimes also referred to as Camelback East Village. The entire neighborhood was originally part of large orange groves that extended south of the canal to Glendale Ave. The subdivision was built in 1971 by Developer Stamen Thomas.

Coincidentally, Ralph Haver was a member of the Estate Los Arboles community and although he was not the architect of record, his unique mid-century design influence can be found throughout the subdivision.

Southwest Human Development makes its home here supporting early childhood for much of Maricopa County. There’s no shortage of businesses around here. This area borders the more well to do Arcadia and Biltmore neighborhoods as well as the more decidedly homeless and drugee scene that runs South of Thomas Rd. It’s a typical Phoenix neighborhood otherwise."
