3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is more than an average school, they express determination, strength, Academics. The classes I've taken and the school spirit of this school is beyond what any school here in Yakima will give you. It is a school people around the city, and out, want to attend. The IB program is great, focusing on Business, Art, Medicinal, Performance Art, and many more experiences. The dual Credit is a required course class and given many opportunities to even study in college while taking your high school, giving you the chance to receive your high school diploma and your Associates Degree in any Major they have. As well have alternatives in case you wish to be in the work force while studying. There is something in Davis high school for you, whether it is sports or art, or any of the active clubs and competitions given. Our School thrives on finding your own personal pathway and making sure you are succeeding in life.Student Review2y ago - Eisenhower High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had a very splendid time going to Eisenhower High School when I attended there before graduating 2015, until I went today to pick up my sister, but I was going to use the restroom. The office staff did not let me use the restroom because they had a "school meeting". I am going to probably make a few heads steamed in red with this statement, but all they do at that meeting is sit on their behinds for like an hour and gossip about the student maybe just hangout for their own sake. Before someone says my comment is not relevant, just know that I took part in some activities there to give a truthful statement. The blond lady that works in the office was inherently rude along with the bimbos that work inside there, this one morning I had to go to the dentist to have my teeth clean and they would hassle my parents because it "interrupted my class time" but it is a front-back hand on them because I still graduated either way. The incompetent ladies called security on my mom because she raised her voice, yet the office staff were the ones provoking my parents. I guess it is funny and hypocritical how they tell you to "stand up" for your yourself but you cannot stand up to the staff when they do something wrong. I don't get why they act like a bunch of twats. When you go to school or work you are going to run into people you do not like.Parent Review6y ago - Whitney Elementary School

"This area is peaceful and for the most part quiet besides the occasional alarm of the fire trucks that take off from the station in the area. Low crime rate out here in comparison with other areas of Yakima."

"Properties are large for pets. No sidewalks. Wildlife can be an issue. The neighborhood dogs have owners with good fences and walk their pets on leashes."

"There are no sidewalks to provide opportunities to say hello to your neighbors & while most homes are set back from the road, the road is busy. It is a beautiful area because of the views and gorgeous homes. People do help one another if the need is there. "

"I live in this neighborhood and despite the decent crime map, there is plenty of theft, vandalism and creeps walking around looking like they’re ready to cause trouble. Cute rentals and good pricing, just wish the city would take care of the crime and homeless population. "

"I live pretty far out on Ahtanum but it’s a beautiful place to live. Where I live there’s plenty of field and wildlife. It’s nice and quite but a little bit farther from town that I like. Luckily the school buses come out to where we live to pick up and drop off my nephew. I love how quiet it normally is out here and how you can sit outside and enjoy the peacefulness. "
