About this House

Victorian home (2 family) that has been upgraded - it is on East Main Street near Moorestown Friends School. Centrally located right near the turnpike I 295 I 95, 130 - thirty minutes to the shore or Philadelphia. Past guests said it was like Resort living with all kinds of festivities happening on Main Street within walking distance. The home was built in 1776 & obviously not brand new so if you are into a home with good bones, charm, privacy and character - and not something that is brand new and fancy - this is for you. You will park in the back and enter into the side door entrance to the "mud room" as farmers call it - with plenty of storage and a place to hang your coats and put up your boots. There is a large eat in country kitchen. The cabinets are nice nice but they're not brand new. There is a dishwasher and a new sink and faucet and full size refrigerator. Bring your own countertop microwave.

Wood floors throughout. Linoleum in the bathroom. The master bedroom fits either a queen or king size bed. It has a Casablanca fan and window a/c, and wall to wall closet. The second bedroom has a large closet. The living room is a nice size but it's not huge, it's approximately 14 x 20. There is a sunroom in the back which opens onto a brick patio in the back. Bring your bar-b-que. There is one bathroom with tub and shower.

The rent includes heat and hot water and sewer & cold water - you are saving a lot of money by not having to pay the heat. The heating system is radiator, which provides a nice steady heat. The thermostat is controlled by you. There are 2 window air conditioners. The washer and dryer is in the basement. There is no storage in the basement except for your bikes and a few tools. You will be able to pull in and turn around in the large parking area. The grass is maintained by the management company. You have a private patio in the back. The second floor is used as an office and normally only has one quiet & considerate occupant part of the year.

Absolutely no smoking or vaping on the premises. No pets are permitted. You are responsible for taking out your own trash and putting it in plastic bags. It cannot be loose in the trash cans because we have wildlife in the area. You will pay for your electric bill, which will only be approximately $50 - $75 PSE&G based upon previous tenant. It might be a little bit more in this excessive heat. This unit is priced for a single person. Other options considered. Must have good credit history, no prior evictions and references. You must present a valid driver's license.

"I see dogs all the time. I don't think I've seen anyone pick up after their dog and some people have a bad habit of walking their dogs on people's lawn. "
  • Trulia User
"This area is great for kids, there’s parks in every part of the neighborhood. I’m closer to downtown so there’s a lot more for my son to do as well, the only thing I wish they had is more “child play” groups or programs in the area."
  • Candice K.
"Great place to walk your dog and other neighbors with dogs are friendly. Not enough dog parks in the area."
