6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMr. Whisler is doing a great job as principal and feel like he has dramatically improved the school. The last principal Ms. Van Tress was barely seen and you could tell she was "checked out" as principal. She created a climate of mistrust and allowed certain teachers (her friends) do what ever they wanted to do. My daughter is in 5th grade and many of those teachers need to retire. These are the same teachers that were the past principal's friends and act as though they can do whatever they want at the school. I hope that Mr. Whisler will hold them accountable as he gets comfortable at the school.Parent Review5y ago7 Reviews - Spanish Springs High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is an absolute disaster and it all starts with Principal Sean Hall. He is a bully, gas lighter and known homophobe. He is the exact opposite of the type of leader you’d want for a school and has caused several teachers to quit because he is so miserable to be around. The teachers are lazy, the school is toxic and the Principal is a cowboy who spreads toxicity any chance he can get.Teacher Review1y ago7 Reviews - Sky Ranch Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis place and its teachers is the most toxic school I’ve ever been to. Outside of a few things, everything at the school is terrible.Student Review1y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 13 Eclipse.

"Commute is crazy. Way too much congestion. No planning had gone into the road infrastructure. Building of homes, businesses and apartments continues with no attention to the traffic congestion this causes. "

"Community yard sale and the friendliness of neighbors. I definitely would be nice to have public transportation commute out here just as it does to the south meadows region. "

"Great neighborhood with great neighbors. Have lived here since 1991. Seen a lot of different neighbors. However, have not experienced any neighbors that were not good neighbors. Love the area. Would just like less people moving into our community. Still feels like a small town, but with lots more people. "

"Sparks is like Reno, slightly quieter and not as run down. we still have everything they do. including events, fishing, concerts, movie theaters, and shopping outlets. depending on where you are located you might be able to even see both downtown Sparks, and Reno. as well the mountains and hills. I can tell you about all the crime, the homeless, the traffic.. which is clearly evident. but there is so much beauty as well.. wonderful architectural examples, and even parks and museums... "

"I don’t know. I don’t have a dog and I don’t want it. I don’t like to hear dogs barking or seen dogs pop. So I will recommend dog’s owners to keep them inside and clean after the dogs. "
