Excellent engagement from the teachers. My kids (grades 3 & 4) really love it. They are challenged and are both involved in the honors program. The teachers encourage a safe school enviroment. Bullying is not tolerated. Kindness and hard work are rewarded. Many extra circular activities to choose from as well.

I came here for 6th grade and it sucked. My sister came here for 6-8 and she got in trouble and the assistant principal and the principal is afraid of my mom now and they were nice to me but not. Asst. Principal, Jamie Simpson and principal Ted Holop. These people hate my mom and did nothing when someone hit my mom's car in the parking lot.

This school is genuinely a joke, it’s got to be the worst possible experience for a high schooler. Especially one with special needs. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful, the students here are so incredibly selfish and rude, and the staff does NOTHING to prevent bullying. The computers students are forced to use are genuinely so bad to the point where even teachers don’t like using the things. There are good staff members here, but majority of them are genuinely out to get you and just don’t care.Someone with special needs has to FIGHT for accommodations, and even then teachers won’t follow your 504 plan or will follow it so strictly that it’s miserable to be on the autism spectrum or suffer from any other disability. You’re better off sending your kids to another school like summit academy or the STEM school here because genuinely, this is the worst public school ever, and I’m not saying that because I’m a student who hates school. I’m saying that as an autistic honors student who actually cares about my work and my future. AWFUL school.
