Most of the reviews here are old. The school now has a new principal who was a former teacher and who is excellent. This is very much a community school and I am incredibly impressed with their focus on social emotional growth and positive behavior. My child loves school and so far every teacher is excellent. There is also a very active parent support between an active PTA that provides lots of community activities for families, free parenting classes, and a resource staff that connects families to services (veggie boxes, free hike helmets, etc..) I also have to commend the afterschool programs. The one our child goes to is top notch and the staff are very professional and wonderful with the kiddos.

"we live among the Redwood Forest. a very specific ecosystem. incredibly beautiful. but lacking in vitamin D most of the year. 70% rainfall. so trips to the nearby ocean / Coast are a must! 35 minutes to Surf. "

"It is beautiful, safe, and quiet. Very close to Big Basin Redwoods State Park. Close enough to both Santa Cruz and the Bay Area to easily commute to work. Price of living is still ridiculously high, but is lower than most of the surrounding areas."

"I grew up on this property.(1970-1986). My parents moved after the Earthquake in 1989. I am not sure exactly when. The current owner who is the third owner to my knowledge has made some very nice improvements. I would like to buy it if it ever came to market. It takes a special kind of person to appreciate a property like this. "
