Neighborhood Overview

What Locals Say about Willow Park

  • Tannya I.
"I don’t go to any gatherings anymore. I walk my son’s dog twice a day; day and night. However, I don’t walk alone. The dog walkers are mostly very friendly. But, people with aggressive dogs on their yards are very obnoxious and unfriendly. I like the neighborhood very much because my neighbors are all wonderful people. "
  • Tannya I.
"I’m renting temporarily. It’s ok. The uniqueness is how friendly the dog walkers are with everyone, which I truly like. Noisy dogs are tolerated 24/7 because we are all pet lovers. "
  • Tannya I.
"To protect their children from strangers. This neighborhood is old. Many elderly people live here. The HOA is relatively doing its job, kind of. On Halloween, no children came to our door, which it is odd. Walking my dog, I am able to find waste containers. But, I don’t think these people are friendly. The dogs behind our rental home suffer from excessive barking. I’m so looking forward to move out of this neighborhood and go to a friendlier one away from here."
  • Leslie M.
"It's a community and friendly people who look out for one another."
  • Morgan H.
"A nice community that has many trails and a great location."
  • Leslie M.
"Lots of areas for dogs to run and play with other dogs."
  • Morgan H.
"As long as you pick up after your dog there will be no problems! There are many great walking trails and outdoor areas in this neighborhood for dogs."
  • Leslie M.
"Not bad commute. Pretty close to a lot of stores that I shop at."
  • Morgan H.
"The increase in population in Colorado has caused there to be more traffic in our neighborhood. However, the drive within Willow Park has remained very calm and easy."
  • Leslie M.
"To see if it's safe to raise a family. Neighborhood watch to help prevent crime."
  • Morgan H.
"It is a very safe neighborhood with a lot of things to do with kids. The neighborhood is a very close walking distance to downtown Parker."
  • Sara P.
"The open spaces that are available make this place special. Family oriented neighborhood. Great place for Halloween trick or treat. Association fees are quite reasonable especially considering all the amenities."
  • Sara P.
"We have a dog park here. It's newer and easy to walk to. The sidewalks are great and it's a nice walk."
  • Sara P.
"Unfortunately I find 70 to be a miserable highway. Getting into Denver is not fun but we are within 5 minutes of the train station that will take you directly downtown or to the airport. The drive to the airport is about 20 minutes."
  • Sara P.
"There are lots of younger kids here. Parents are extremely friendly. Kids enjoy all the parks and pools available in Stapleton."
  • Heather K.
"Friendly neighbors! Clean community! We have great schools!"
  • Heather K.
"There is a dog park being built nearby. The neighbors all have dogs and it is a friendly neighborhood!"
