6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have two kids in Jane Addams. We're incredibly happy with the multicultural school. The dual language program puts kids who speak Spanish at home in the same classroom as kids who speak English at home (or another non-Spanish language) so kids of all backgrounds learn together. The program and resulting integration are truly impressive. The teachers clearly care about the students and go above and beyond to ensure each kid gets the support they need to be successful. The parents are involved and social, and the community is warm and welcoming. A true gem of a school.Parent Review4y ago10 Reviews - Winston Campus Jr High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo NOT pay attention to sites like this to decide where to purchase a home, if that's what you are doing. These sites are old, they don't get updated. They aren't based in actual experiences. WCJH is a MULTIPLE AWARD-WINNING school. A few years ago, the principal won the Golden Apple Award! They have the most improved math and reading scores in the district. The teachers are well-educated professionals on top of their game. The sports and afterschool activities are second to none. It provides a safe, friendly learning environment for all children. Do more homework before you judge this or any other school on sites like this.Parent Review2y ago9 Reviews - Palatine High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSecurity is a bunch of rent a cops and all of the employees gossip with others about students. Very unprofessional for grown men and women to be talking bad about students like they are in high school. I believe the teachers and security and everyone was bullied in school and work here to feel powerful. The school is producing kids who don’t defend themselves for example encouraging students to not defend themselves from physical harm and to simply tell a teacher like that has ever solved anything. They also favor the student athletes and white students. Very racially discriminative towards minority’s at this school. Everything at this school is just a big ego war.Student Review7mo ago20 Reviews - Check out schools near 1245 E Prairiebrook Dr #1237B2.

"You definitely need a car to get around to most places. Some places are walkable but it is much easier to get around with a car. My commute to the city Chicago is always great and convenient using the local Palatine Metra Station."

"Palatine has a great mix of affordable housing, including apartments, townhouses, and single-family homes. With plenty of stores, access to the highway, and multiple large forest preserves, it’s a great mix of green space and accessibility. I think our library is top-tier and there are plenty of free community activities for kids and adults. "
