I was at this school for 6 years; this was the worst experience ever. As a former student who went here and struggled with mental health issues they did not help at all. They also did not provide good academic responsibility but the 5th grade math teacher. Also, all the teachers were rude to most of the kids and picked favorites like i probably got yelled at more than 100 times and i was a A+ student who was a good kid. Anyways do NOT go to this school!

The learning is fine and the athletics is mediocre. The thing that is the wordt is how there is ZERO security. 1 security guard for both the middle and high school(they are one building). Fights are also kind of a problem. Mr Molle is a great principal and does his job but there’s only so much he can do when the vice principal does the bare minimum.

Oneonta school district is bad so bad especially middle and high school. They don't do summer school so everyone gets passed through. I also think online sites like because 92% of student excel In math? That's extremely false. They also do nothing for kids who get bullied. The kids who cause trouble and bully never have consequences. I'm from Long Island and no school there ever handle things as badly as oneonta. I will never recommend this school

Both of our children had great teachers at Riverside Elementary. Just the right amount of homework kept parents informed without putting too much pressure on the children.

This school has repeatedly gotten students disciplinary infractions for doing nothing, the teachers here are terrible and the children who do cause problems aren't talked to. Kids who have good manners or temperament are treated badly bullying runs rampant in not only the school but the entire district.
