"Housing here is extremely expensive and likely never to get better. But property will always go up in value. Everything here is expensive. People are generally nice, more people are moving here and the streets are getting busier and the city is growing at a rapid pace. If you live in a place that’s city and you want your kids to experience a different pace on an island, try a different one or maybe live north shore. "
  • Yrwfmj9xr7
"Concerts and outdoor bbq's make our community special. Also, there's a lot of local activities for children"
  • Chloe Allen
"The community of people are nice. It is a place where you can go on an afternoon walk with and pet. Enjoy the local parks with families kids and pets that come and go. Very well taken care of neighborhood. "

"Great family friendly neighborhood. Fun local shops and restaurants scene. Kaimuki has a great sense of community. The schools are great! I love walking to get ice cream, dinner, library, local shops, so many fun local spots to explore with the whole family. "

  • Arianna S.
"very nice area to walk any animal. great atmosphere, great location, nice and friendly neighbors and people in general."
  • Pthoene
"We catch the valley breezes. We are close to Waialae which has great places to grind and relax. We are launching distance from Honolulu and surf spots but we are not in the belly of the beast."
  • knakano1
"Hardly ever see dogs out walking with owners. Many in-house dogs since very little land with house."
