There’s Light Up the Tracks, Parades for Christmas, Halloween, the Fourth of July, etc. during the summer they have a fourth Fridays, which is a huge event with vendors, both food vendors and retail vendors and it’s just an exciting time to get out and know your neighbors."

"Hanover County regulates licensing and leash laws for the Town of Ashland. All dogs must be current on their rabies vaccinations and be on leash when off property. If a dog is found to be loose without tags, the dog will be held at Animal Control until an owner is identified."
  • David M.
"Community “get-togethers” and public events are closely monitored by law enforcement. There is a fantastic sense of community in Ashland."

  • Nicknjessxoxo
"Need a car to get to most places, unless you live near the college. The college area has a lot of close shops, restaurants and convenience stores. "
  • kmk51
