9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would strongly caution parents, especially parents of color, before sending their children to Alamos Elementary School based on my family’s recent experience. My 10-year-old son was the target of a verified racist incident where two students programmed a school-issued iPad to say “Amir is a N-word” out loud during class in front of students and staff. According to administration, the incident was confirmed and the students admitted to it.What has been most disappointing is not only the incident itself, but also the handling and communication afterward. When I initially contacted the school trying to get information regarding this serious situation, I was told by the front office that the Assistant Principal was out sick and that the Principal was not aware of or tracking the incident because it is “a big school.” During my later conversation with Principal Jenniffer Aynesworth, I was informed that information was inaccurate.I also felt dismissed during my attempts to get answers as a concerned parent advocating for my child. Instead of immediately treating this situation with the seriousness it deserved, the communication was inconsistent and at times felt unprofessional.Principal Jenniffer Aynesworth further informed me that the school would not remove or relocate the students responsible “because of one student.” I was also told that if my son felt uncomfortable remaining around the students involved, my son would instead be moved from the classroom. As a parent, that is unacceptable to me. A child who experiences racial harassment should not feel like they are the one being displaced while the students responsible remain comfortable in the same environment. This situation has emotionally affected my son deeply. He spent the night crying because he was hurt and struggling to understand why this happened to him.Parents deserve to know how situations involving racism, student safety, and parent concerns are handled before deciding where to send their children.Parent Review2mo ago42 Reviews - Bella Vista Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of the worst schools to send your kid . Teachers don’t care when kids get bullied or made fun of in class. The staff and principle are not helpful at all. Do not send your kid here . Temecula schools district overall suck!!Parent Review7mo ago12 Reviews - Check out schools near 123 Borel Rd.

"This area is mostly clean, less noise, and traffic etc. There’s nice parks, a couple lakes, kids out and about, it’s truly a little gem for those wanting to step out of a busy city. There’s little to no crime for what I’m aware of. People are pretty friendly, drivers are decent, there’s a true pride living in this city and this part of the county. "

"We have community events a few times a year in our community park. The HOA does a summer, fall and winter event. Usually food, games for the kids and something seasonal. The larger community has many events at the community center throughout the year. "

"ive lived here for 4 years. it has gotten worse every year. the traffic is getting unbarable, it takes 45 minutes to get to the 15 freeway that is only 7 miles from house. 20 minutes to 215 freeway that is only 3 miles away. theres always a traffic jam no matter which way you are traveling regardless of time. 15 minutes or more to grocery store 1.5 miles from house. taxes....through the roof. they have renamed melloruse as special assessments. and on too of that the fire department and police department send their own bill. HOA....dont be fooled by cheap hoa dues, they can and will go up. also, just because thwy are cheap dues doesnt mean they wont send you letters for silly stuff like holiday decor or weeds, or a trashcan left out 10 minutes too long. if tranquillity is what you are seeking try somewhere else. if overpriced tickitacki houses and suburban hustle is your style, you will fit right in."

"Winchester is in the Temecula school district which is a plus! It’s a bit more secluded than I would like but they are fast building more and more housing communities so businesses are sure to gravitate towards the area! If you want an up and coming city near Temecula that is not already full and done developing this is the place for you!"
