Description

Spectacular peaceful getaway with total privacy! This ranch home sits in the Wilson school district and is really close to everything, but once you drive up the lane you get the feeling of total seclusion. The home is being sold fully furnished and has been well cared for. It includes a lovely view out the front of the home plus 3+/- acres of woodlands in the rear with plenty of trails and wildlife. You can't help but notice the HUGE deck which is partially covered and superb for outdoor entertaining. You enter into the screened in deck area and then into the home. Huge eat-in kitchen with granite counters and tile backsplash, as well as spacious pantry cabinets. So much counter and cabinet space! Practically the entire home has oak flooring throughout. The size of the living room will surprise you as well. Plenty of room for everyone. This area includes a cool spot for a computer desk or working from home. Gorgeous bay window. There is also a small deck out the front. 2 bedrooms and a hall bath on the main level. The basement is partially finished and ready for your finishing touches. The 'family room' area has a newer wood stove that is very economical. The basement is huge and also houses the laundry area plus a sink and toilet. There is a Bilco-type door that leads out to the deck. The utility costs and taxes for this home are very economical per the seller. The roof is a 50 yr shingle (about 13+/- years old) and many of the windows have been replaced and have a 25 year warranty. This home is an economical, well-maintained, private retreat that is perfect for seclusion as well as entertaining. It's absolutely ready to go!

"Reading is a great place to live, especially if you’re on the border next to the West and want a neighborhood that feels clean, safe, and walkable. The area has great parks, and it’s perfect for kids, casual walks, and bike rides around town. Like anywhere, you may occasionally see people trying to break into cars, but it’s sporadic rather than constant, and most of the time the neighborhood feels peaceful. A lot of the neighbors are friendly and easy to get along with, though, like anywhere, there are a few difficult people mixed in. Overall, Reading has a strong small-town feel with good energy and plenty to like. Reading’s borough site highlights its 21-acre park and community recreation options, and local sources commonly describe it as walkable and family-friendly"
  • Trulia User

"Quit streets good hard working people A neighborhood's uniqueness comes from its unique blend of people, local businesses, amenities, and character. Factors like safety, the quality of schools, and community atmosphere contribute to its distinct identity, while specific features such as a thriving food scene, parks, or a rich history can make it special. Ultimately, a neighborhood becomes unique through the relationships residents build, the shared meanings they attach to places, and the lifestyle it"

"I need more space where to have my pet and I want an extra room and a better school nearby for my daughter."
  • Morsletine67
"There are a lot of people that walk their dogs in this area and most people are animal friendly, but you do have some people that put up signs to keep off lawn. The reason I believe this happens is because you do have some people, very few, that will walk their dogs at night and not clean up. As a dog owner, I always clean up after my dog and I get very annoyed when I am walking and I see that someone didn’t clean up after their dog. "
  • Jul Kastle
"Very Friendly Neighborhood~We Feel safe in our Community. Everyone is friendly and welcoming..Nice place to call Home. "
  • Jfinks69
"Neighbors are respectful of each other and their properties. The area is maintained and is close enough to shops and businesses without being too close. "
  • Morgan
"724 can be backed up at times, which is annoying. Local groceries, post office, school and farmers market is all very convenient. "
  • Pchacon2122
"Neighbors are pet friendly and I have ample space for my dogs in my yard. I feel my dogs are safe in our yard/home "
  • D. Rivera
"Absolutely nothing. I moved here because I lived among the elderly and they began moving and selling their homes after Covid. Now the neighbors are loud with music playing constantly. Outside smoking weed and using profanity all the time. Gets worse during the summer time. I cannot let my kids outside to ply because there is no respect for them as children."
  • hm96
"Some people do not keep their dogs quiet, then the barking picks up when people or another dog is walking by. "
  • Keesha Hill
"The area of safety the schools and shopping the community overall The living of country suburban life "
