Best high school in Moreno Valley. The Canyon administrators are proactive at serving students and resourcing parents. Principal Kerr is helpful and willing to meet when necessary. The campus supervisors balance maintaining security with building relationships to encourage the students. The girls basketball program is second to none in the Inland Empire. The program for graphic design is not only fun and inspirational but a top-class opportunity for students to learn real world skills. Every school has it's issues and students who just want to mess around, but those students are managed well and not allowed to negatively impact the rest of the student body. It's a good school and one of the best in the Inland Empire.

BOOOO.... This school has a few good teachers who actually care... others are mean, angry, tired and it reflects in their teaching. The principal is nice and she is doing the best she can. If there isn't a staff problem, there is problems with people on the campus who shouldn't be there. There are ignorant parents/people who are inconsiderate when dropping off the kids. There is no plays, no science fairs no yearbooks...they have a great PTA and newly established some parent involvement for walking kids. They have really unruly kids and hardly any discipline. Try sitting in a class, as a parent helper and you will see that the teachers have no control over the children in the class. This is Ghetto. There are low class citizens with potty mouths all around and the kids are so bad... Product of their environments... So if you have a good kid... keep them away from this school. They will not teach them to be productive or good citizens. This school has had low scores for 4 years now... they are considered a to be in need of "Program Improvement ." They continue to run below level of AYP criteria... They might as well shut it down. Better yet I'm pulling my child out.

I low-key don't know because I'm new but like I really respect this school because my mom and uncle went to palm but my mom was doing 6th grade at Vista heights middle school and 7th and 8th in palm
