Both of my kiddos have gone to this school since kindergarten and my son since pre-school. The administration has changed recently and with that have come positive changes. Discipline is stricter with actual accountability when kids mess up, my kiddos feel safe, problems are addressed when needed, and the high cap program is fantastic. It was easy for my kiddos to get on much needed 504 plans, the teachers are accessible to parents, and my kiddos love going to school. Because it is a smaller school, class sizes are great and everyone knows everyone. Test scores across the school are low but a lot of that has to do with lack of support at home. Attendance has been a struggle for a lot of kids, largely due to home lives. However, the kids who have good support at home thrive. The school recently addressed that with putting a focus on attendance and notifying parents monthly of where their kiddos are at attendance wise, and switching to a 4 day schedule which has helped.
