This shcool is a bit strict the food is sooooooooooo gooood i love it they suspend ppl for bullying they can be a bit rude, and some teachers think they are the boss of you bcs im here writing this bcs i and getting suspended for skipping but yea

MY RATING IS HOLISTIC. The school is not a great environment for students genuinely curious and interested in learning. The present-day majority of students are generally low achieving even by the already low school standards (and it shows through the test scores), have been exposed to or take drugs, smoke, and engage in other activities that should not be present at a school. The restrooms are egregious, and the ones that are nice and actually function are more often than not: occupied by smokers or drug users, IF they're not closed because of those aforementioned students. If you express your interest of a particular subject within a classroom that is not of KP, AP or DC standard, then more often than not, it feels like you're under the intense scrutiny of other students, and even if you are in an "advanced" level class, the classrooms are mostly silent, and you'd be lucky to find a classroom where the students operate with genuine curiosity. The majority of teachers are not qualified to teach what they teach, it feels as though a majority of funding goes towards the athletics department, and there are coaches teaching chemistry. Funding is sparse and for the funds that are not spent on athletics, are used towards getting kids to graduate and go through "credit recovery", an after-school program that quite literally has kids sit around in classrooms for 1-2 hours to get the credits for the classes they had failed back. The extracurricular scene is lacking when compared to schools of the same district, IF you can even find an academically oriented club, clubs meant for academic competition are vastly inferior and less prepared than other clubs of the same district and purpose, and depending on club to club, can be led by a sponsor who has little to no expertise in the field. Though, throughout the time I've spent here, the minority of students who are genuinely curious of their respective interests, and the teachers who are willing to teach with enthusiasm and vigor have made my time here at Klein Forest much more bearable than it would have been, to name a few: Ms. Dano, Ms. Kotta, and Mrs. Watson are among the excellent teachers I've had the opportunity to study with. The fine arts department is the area within the school that acts as a sort of safe haven from the rest of the school where you can find likeminded and ambitious students, the instructors there are also quite amazing.
