  • Trulia User
"This is a very safe and friendly neighborhood. On this street people look after their neighbors and there’s a yearly block party. Stores and shops are an easy walk away. I love it!"
  • Trulia User
"There are good schools near by and lots of local parks that a great for children and teens. Overall people are friendly."

"I grew up in this neighborhood. It has been a great place to raise a family. I would recommend this area to anyone who is considering it as a place to live."
  • Charlotte
"My neighborhood is easy to get through but other parts of Redwood City has lots of traffic. My drive home at night from another side of Redwood City is 30 minutes without ever getting on the freeway. "
  • Eleu
"Nice friendly neighbors and conveniently close to groceries and retail, including a few neighborhood restaurant gems within walking distance. "
  • Eleu
"I have lived on my street 12 years and love this neighborhood. Great friends and neighbors. Close to Red Morton Park, walking distance to Key Market, Summit Coffee and a great sushi spot to remain nameless though walking distance from home... "
  • John W.
"great location - walk to school, grocer, rite aid, coffee, restaurants and Red Morton recreation center and park."
  • Angelica
"We have been living here for the last couple years. I walk to the store or the park (in the summer) at night without any problems. Truman is a roomy street, and most cars are parked in their own driveways so it is very pleasant to walk on the tree lined street. There are a couple coffee shops, and an ice cream shop at a short walking distance, a grocery store and drug store. Area is flat so it is great for biking and the Red Morton Park and Recreation is only a couple blocks away. Schools are close by as well. Area is well served with public transportation and its very easy to get on 280. Neighbors are a mix of young families and retirees in their mid 50's. We never hear loud parties or the like and everyone is respectful of their neighbor's privacy. I am very happy with my location choice and highly recommend it. "
  • Angelica
"House needed lots of work and had to be completely renovated. However all the fatigue that came with renovation was rewarded by realizing how awesome this neighborhood is. Most homes are owner occupied, which translates in great property care. Street is wide, clean and quiet, neighbors attentive and active, school and kids great, stores and restaurants at walking distance. We are enjoying it very much"
