"Halloween and Christmas are very special in our neighborhood. I love it when I see a house decorated and brings smile to my face. "
  • Trulia User
"limited sidewalks. decent levels of traffic. there are parks though, and the parks usually have trashcans where owners can throw away poo."
  • Trulia User
"Easy commute north to Everett early in the morning and in early afternoon as well. Roughly 20-30 minutes in morning, 30-40ish in the afternoon at/before 2. Also should be a pretty convenient commute to downtown. Only like 15 minutes away (with light traffic—but this is Seattle, so there’s gonna be traffic at peak hours)"
  • Natisa B.
"Born here and raised in Ballard so all north Seattle feels like home to me and my family. Food banks , stores are clean , people are nice and friendly to"
  • Annaliese H.
"It's close to everything and the people are friendly. Shopping and groceries are close and parks. Close communities "
  • Dave H.
"Seattle is stupid expensive. Prices are inflated for the homes in the area and do not reflect a fair market value "
  • Dave H.
"The park is within walking distance. The neighbors are great and keep houses clean. Streets are safe and no neighbors are unfriendly"
  • Rose C.
"Great as I work in Mountlake Terrace. I don’t have any issues with my commute. If it was in Seattle then yes it would be bad"
  • Trulia User
"There is dog parks everywhere and dog friendly people who walk there dogs all day everyday. Morning jogs with the dog or a midnight run with your dog. All possible "
  • Sharonsrosessre
"Very close to the stores on 15th street as well as the library around the corner. I am able to walk to work! Although most of these homes were built in the 50's most of them are kept up to standard.a friendly, dog walking neighborhood. Lots of trees so hard to have full sun for growing sun loving plants."
  • naniseattle
"I have lived here since may 2007. I find this area/neighborhood safe, quiet and beautiful. There are lots of big trees and the lots are spacious. One of the biggest benefits that I enjoy living here is that it's just a few blocks walk to Hamlin park (a 100 acre public park.) I feel like I am in the deep woods when I am in the park and my dogs love it! Also, the City of Shoreline is well run and does many things to do community building ( example: monthly newsletter, annual parade)"
  • Veggygirl1961
"Lived here for over 20 years, it's a very safe and family friendly area. "
