What Locals Say about Bond Hill

"The commute in the neighborhood is very good there is traffic in the morning which is normal work traffic and also traffic in the afternoon between 3 and 4 which is worth traffic as well"

"The neighborhood has some truly spectacular old Tudor, story book, and Victorian homes built in the late late 1800’s and early 1900’s. They’re so beautiful!!! These are homes that were built to last, with concrete and plaster, the way they used to build back in the day. This could be a really lovely, upscale place to live. There’s an excellent golf course and country club (Maketewah) right down the street from me. And Avon Field golf course is only a five minute drive from my house, which is awesome. But the neighborhood lacks diversity, and the city really needs to clean up the crime. A guy down the block cased our house and burglarized us a couple of years ago. "

"There’s always something happening at the recreation center. People are friendly here and try to be helpful. The schools are connected to the recreation centers so that school age children can have a safe place to stay. The area is very quiet. Although, it isn’t the best looking part of town—the older model homes make up for the appearance. People here really try hard to keep up the neighborhood. I sometimes see people walk their dogs in the neighborhood. Kids can walk safely to school and take the bus to school. There’s a metro system here. Downtown Cincinnati isn’t too far from my home. "

"Before I moved here people told me that it was a bad area. I have had no problems and everyone is friendly. I am constantly outside, coming and going so if there was trouble going on I would find it. Visit and walk around, talk to residents who actually live here before giving it a bad name."
