But my number 1 reason for rating thos school a 2 is the "leader" aka the principal. She is the rudest person I've ever encountered in an educational environment!Parent Review10y ago7 Reviews - Marco Antonio Firebaugh High School

"Living in Lynwood can feel like a mix of comfort and awareness. It’s a tight-knit, family-oriented community where neighbors often know each other, kids play outside, and local spots feel familiar. At the same time, it’s one of those places where you stay mindful. You might double-check your doors at night, be aware of your surroundings, and know which areas to avoid after dark. It’s not about constant fear, more like being street-smart—knowing when to be cautious and when you can relax. Overall, living there is about balance: enjoying the community, the convenience, and the vibe, while staying alert and making smart choices to keep yourself and your family safe."

"I’ve lived here, almost 20 years. Since 2007. It’s quiet, neighbors are polite; if you are. And most people keep to themselves unless it’s a situation where we need to step up for one another. "

"Many dogs get out of their yard without supervision and go roaming. Since this is an area that has multi family homes, it’s hard to contact the dog’s owner & alert them of their dog getting out. "

"health fair at the park. Also fair on the street with rides and with music and food. I think we need to have open sprinklers for kids outside in the park because the pool gets too crowded. "

"There’s plenty of homes with dogs here. They are welcome. Most dogs know each other and like to visit each other and bark at the same time. It’s a dog friendly community. There is also a local dog park where you can take your dog and he can run around and socialize with other dogs. Another thing is that is also a walkway near the Los Angeles Riverbed where you can take your dog to walk. There is an app called next door and it’s community based. So whenever there is community member has an issue for example their dog walking off from their house, they can post a picture of their dog and pertinent information that will help others locating their pet. "It is mostly families with young children but everyone stays to themselves. Some ignorant drivers race down the streets so you have to be mindful of that when taking a walk in the neighborhood. But there are some youth classes and the park "
