The principal really cares about the kids and she takes anti-bullying very, very seriously. If your child ever has Miss Gretto now known as Mrs. Buganski (Not sure the spelling of her last name) for 1st grade, then your child is going to have the best school year of his or her life. She is one of the few teachers out there who is very passionate about her teaching craft and genuinely cares about her students. From the Child Study Team to even the secretaries. I could go on and on about how truly great they are. So, I'll just say that Slaybaugh Primary/Elementary is truly the best!

Wonderful! I tell everyone that. We are looking to move and literally are restricting our buying area so we don't have to change our sons school.

Excellent teachers, staff, and principal. There are many parent and school organized events that have always been well coordinated and fun. The kids love their teachers and enjoy going to Swift to learn and see their friends.The curriculum is surprisingly advanced compared to my elementary experience in North Jersey 30 years ago.The only downside is half-day kindergarten, but that is not specific to this Swift.

I had 2 boys go there .It was good over all . My kids learned alot and made new friends . The school trays it's best to make learning fun. I just wish they had a nicer recess area for kids to play.

This school is amazing. I was in eighth grade two years ago and I loved Alder all three years I was there. My sixth grade math teacher is amazing. she is the only reason i remember algebra. She also just listened anytime i wanted to talk. My seventh and eighth grade teachers were awesome. i miss going to Alder everyday and all the teachers that love their jobs. All the teachers are there for kids and want to get to know all of their students individually. I aways say i want to go back. I have never said I wanted to go back to a school after I went to a new school.

It was chicken patty day and they gave me grilled chicken on a bun. Went to the bathroom and cried. I would give this school a zero but the ratings don’t go that low.

Like any high school, there are good and bad things. the school was crowded when i attended, they have since expanded the school but im sure its still crowded. with so many students, its easy to get overlooked and forgotten so as a student you have to be motivated. the student population was very diverse. and there are alot of sports, clubs, and activities to get involved in. there is bullying because kids are just mean and there were many fights but what school is without that. unfortunately in this day and age you just have to be tough, have thick skin and be able to defend yourself if need be. I do think this school is safe and in a good neighborhood and fosters growth. i had a good guidance counselor who encouraged me and helped me apply for colleges. I was prepared for college coursework. my teachers were kind and memorable. when i attended they had a vo-tech program. i had a friend who was doing licensed practical nursing(if i remember correctly) during our senior year. there are alot of oppurtunities if youre willing to do the work. be focused. ignore peer pressure, be an individual, be respectful. stay away from the wrong crowds.and have fun etc etc.
