"Dog owners would like that there are plenty of dog parks around. Dog stores are really close by. Dog owners can walk there dogs around the neighborhood. Plenty of dog hospitals in and around the neighborhood. Many pet lovers as neighbors . Climate is very animal friendly. Most properties have plenty of space for animals to live very comfortably. "
  • Jesus Gonzalez
"Horrible area, don’t recommended for people to move into. Have had multiple sketchy experiences that makes me want to move out. "
  • 452hxx5ndc
"I think the community is well maintained for and it’s advantage to be so close to downtown la where only a bus is needed if you don’t have any form of transportation "
  • Caesar Rosie Gonzalez
"A lot of dog owners do not pick up their dog’s poop. So horrible! I’ve lived in ELA for 48 years and maybe in the last 5 year the neighborhood has declined in appearance. "
  • Kathy017campo
"Feeling secure in a neighborhood is crucial for one’s overall well-being and peace of mind. Safety is a key factor when choosing a place to live, as it contributes to a sense of stability and comfort, both of which are essential for maintaining a balanced personal and professional life."
  • Sweety_pie523
"Nice walking paths nearby for walking dogs in the evenings. People need to remember to clean up after their dogs though! "
  • Edgarhv21
"I don’t like this neighborhood the neighbors aren’t friendly. I lived here for 2 years and the neighbors always had their cars parked in 2 spaces "
  • Trulia User
"The city views are the only thing special about Boyle heights other then that it’s infested with streets gangs "
  • Trulia User
"Not bad overall. Things are pretty close around here. East freeway access one of the main pluses falto the neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"Not a good place to live honestly. It’s very difficult to walk, terrible public transport and no dog parks. "
  • Trulia User
"Relatively safe area, multiple schools nearby (high schools, middle schools, elementary). Grocery stores, parks."
  • Trulia User
"I think dog owners would like this neighborhood because it is dog friendly. There are cemeteries w special running tracks to not hurt dogs paws and even dog sized water fountains they can easily drink from and have access to. "
  • Olivia H.
"close commute to everything! we are minutes away from DTLA. we are close to ELAC and CSULA. we have General Hospital. great food and great people. short drive to the beaches, desert, and mountains! we also have the metro and close to major freeways! "
  • Madelyn R. R.
"There are many families in this neighborhood, lots of parks and great schools. I was born and raised here"
  • Betovazquez1982
"Find many cultures all together and you learn from all them . I see most of the people get along well . Friendly community "
  • Trinity L.
"not a great place to have dogs because there are always other dogs barking throughout the neighbourhood"
  • Raul V. R.
"My neighborhood is a big melting pot that has a lot of different cultures. I have lived here all my life and love every part of it. "
  • Jose C.
"My neighborhood has been ok but every once in a while people do stupid things. Cars get taken, windows get broken, people leave a mess in the streets, on the sidewalks. I only live here because it’s cheap and I been living here for 20 plus years otherwise I wouldn’t be in the area. It’s not the best for people. The school winter gardens is a shame. It’s loosing resources and the teachers have to pay out of pocket for items and supplies. It’s not all that good. If you can go somewhere else. Real talk, that’s all."
  • Jmmjram1
"My neighbor hood is a great place to live . it has improved for the better. I lived here for 42 years its had its good and bad times, but its awesome now ans safe."
  • Martha A. A.
"The dog owner would not like that neighbors loves to explore firecracker. The illegal kind during the night. The dog would not be ok with that kind of noise. In addition I don’t think some neighbors are too friendly. So if your dog loves to be without a leash and runs out of the house you might not find the dog again."
  • Aleclozano22
"It’s great because I live next to the 5 freeway so I have easy access however my commute in the afternoons is bad especially after 3:00 PM. "
  • Jose C.
"I been living here for 20+ years. The community as a whole is ok. The issues in the past are año most none existent now a days. But there is a lack in school funding. Winter gardens elementary was a nice place for kids. Now they lack funding and proper direction. I hope someone with connections can have the school investigated why they lack resources."
  • Karla G.
"Some parts are nice and quiet. Everyone minds their own business. It's nice and you will get to walk around because everyone is inside their homes."
  • Jason N.
"Dog owners will love being able to walk their dog. But sure wish EVERYONE would pick up after their dog!!!."
  • Mayrapena25
"Boyle heights is not a safe neighborhood to let kids play outside or out of sight there’s bums and weird looking people all the time always be around you’re kids "
  • Jonathan P.
"People walk their dogs often. Never seen any issues with that subject. Aggressive dogs in yards that don’t seem safe for people to walk near. "
  • Merckx.ea
"the same as every other community, keep your children safe and away from harm. its safe to walk during the day or night in East la"
  • Ana M.
"Taco trucks, ice cream trucks, bakery’s, tamales, cinco puntos, la Azteca, don Manuel’s, soft ice, corn carts"
  • Yanirasierra75
"nice meighborhood i just dropped someone off i saw a house for sale. the houses all look unique. i would definitely live there. "
