This school is not supportive of children with IEPs or those from multiracial backgrounds. There is a clear pattern of disproportionate discipline: Hispanic and African American students are frequently given detentions for minor infractions, while white students who commit more serious offenses are often let off without consequences. The administration seems more concerned with favoritism and personal connections than with fairness and equity. Families seeking an inclusive and supportive environment should look elsewhere.

This school is outstanding. The children in our beautiful town are lucky to receive an education from dedicated teachers in a small friendly community. Safety and education a top priority for our town. I have had multiple students enrolled in this school. Each one received outstanding remarks when applying to private middle schools and high schools. I owe it all to the fantastic education received at Wandell. We are lucky to have this school in our amazing town!!!!!

I am a recent alum at this school. I highly disliked my time here and would not recommend this school to others. The board is awful and I very much disliked the principal, nurse, and school secretary. I believed they were rude and could have done their jobs better. The dress code is also quite sexist, targeting girls, but never boys. On top of that, the school has a hard time keeping staff due to bad pay and treatment. The board only cares about looking good and not doing good. The lunch aids also sucked while I was there. One time I was talking to my friend and told her to jokingly shut up. The lunch aid over heard and for some reason thought I was talking to her. The aid then went and lied to the principal saying I called her the b word when it was very clear I didn't curse nor was talking to her. I then was called to the principal's office and had to explain to the principal that I didn't call the aid the b word and that I was talking to my friend. The same aid also once followed my friend and I into the bathroom during lunch to yell at us, saying we weren't allowed to go, even though we were. I can say many more things I disliked about this school and that need improvement, but my reviews keep getting taken down.
