6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm a teacher at CCMS. We care greatly about the needs of all students. This year has been one of the best years of my 24 year career in education in over ten school districts. I really hope that every year from now on is as good or even better than the one we are having now. The principals are engaged and do the best they can with the school board we have. Principals can be denied in their efforts for discipline by the school board. The counselors are top notch. I can't wait for my 7 year old to come here and meet his counselor. They will provide amazing support. Over the years they have supported ME with MY emotional needs. The teachers are awesome and ask me questions about SPED accommodations when clarfication is warranted. They actively engage all students at all times in the classroom. The community is supportive. Once every four years or so, there is a total nutball parent but every community has one.Teacher Review1y ago16 Reviews - Culver City High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my high school school alma mater and I am just sickened by the way it has been allowed to fall into disrepair. I walked through the campus a few months ago and it looked like an abandoned property being left to fall into shambles. If they don't care about the morale of the students, they cannot convince me they care about the quality of their education. I can't complain about the quality of the academics because education has nationwide is in an awful state. People no longer come out of school educated in general. But this situation with Culver High is dire. The property value here in Culver City is sky high. Why does this school look worse than any low income area school in an a 100 mile radius? It's embarrassing. This school district is a swamp that is in serious need of draining.Parent Review2y ago18 Reviews - El Rincon Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kid was bullied and her front bangs were cut. The principal had a meeting w my kid and bully . The principal applied tactics to say my kid cut own hair and did nothing about it. Keep up the good work Dr Hodge The school gives no homework. You have know idea what they are working on. My kids was so poor in math that needed to take to Mathenisum to be on par w 2nd grade standard math. They teach LBGTQ but they don't tell parents that it's part of curriculum. My child was looking up Rainbow flag online. That's how I found out. A bit much for 2nd graders. We left the school ..don't recommend.Parent Review1y ago38 Reviews - Check out schools near 11680 Cedar Ln.

"My commute is very easy to Santa Monica. The area has easy access to freeways via the 90 on-ramp and 405 to the 10. The neighborhood is easy to access for others as well via buses that run regularly."

"Such a hidden gem in West LA! You leave a commercial area (the mall and business park) and suddenly you're in a private neighborhood at the top of a hill that's super walkable, green, and community-oriented. It's a very dog-friendly and family-friendly neighborhood, too: we have "Santa" visit each complex every December. Plus, the park has been a savior during the pandemic, everyone goes there to work out at the basketball courts, tennis courts, playground, and running/walking paths - I've ever seen some outdoor workout classes and personal trainers take up there. It's perfect for someone who wants or needs to live in LA but doesn't want to feel like they're living in LA."

"Very dog friendly area. Poop bags and trash cans are visible within our apartment complex. I see many dogs on leash but I have not seen a dog park."

"Location is very convenient but quiet. Easy access to the 90, 405, and 10 fwy. Minutes to LAX. Plenty of side streets to take to get to fun neighboring cities such as Playa Vista, Playa del Rey, Westchester, and Marina del Rey. Can get to the beach fast by car. "

"Fox Hills is an awesome little Island of quiet on the westside. It’s a planned community from the late 60’s. Condos built around a large park (1/2 mile diameter) with no cut through traffic. Google is building its socal HQ 5 minutes away. The only downside is that we’re just a bit too far from shopping and entertainment to walk. "
