8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI do not recommend this school. Most school keeps there students safe but this school acts like it is but the teachers are actually hurting the kids. There is this behavior program in this school called the wise program for people with special needs and they have horrible teachers there teachers that get physical with the student just because the student got up from the seat. They say they will help you to something called they apr room instead they shove you. Example a student gets up from there seat a teacher says why you got up let’s say the student is having a bad mode and does not reply another teacher literally tackles a student down this happened one time before just when you think things can’t get worse is if a student is in the apr and they ask the students parents if they want to call 211 if the student is acting really bad if the parent says no they call 911 without asking and the police ask them questions and the student is in the hospital. Another time a student mentioned to me another student was outside of the school and calling 911 for dramatic reasons this. Concerns me so if your child has behavior problems do not put them in the wise program unless you want them to be in a hospital for five hours after school.Parent Review1y ago - Highland School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was really hesitant about going to Highland after years of being a Yalesville Elementary family. I am now such a huge fan. The office staff has been consistently friendly and efficient and the teachers I have met so far ( and some that are from Yalesville) have been great. Very happy to send my daughter here.Parent Review11y ago - James H. Moran Middle School

"They would not like if other dog owner walk their dog without a leash. Also if they let the dog use the bathroom In someone’s yard !"

"Wallingford is a very nice Connecticut suburban town. It has the charm of a great New England community with easy access to major metropolitan areas (about 90 minutes outside of NYC); the town offers great access to two interstates and a commuter rail line. Great public and private schools with a wide array of amenities all make Wallingford an attractive place to live and raise a family. The real estate is well priced with a wide variety of small, medium, and large to estate-sized homes. The mill rate is low relative to most of Connecticut and the town has its own electric company. The East Side of town is more developed with many beautiful estates that overlook the vineyards and countryside offering beautiful, breathtaking views of the terrain and sunrises/sunsets. The crime rate is low and the town boasts many outdoor spaces that are well maintained."
