"Pawtucket offers the perfect mix of convenience, character, and community. It is close to everything—highways, shopping, restaurants, parks, and Providence—while still feeling like a neighborhood with history and charm. It is a practical location with great everyday access."
  • Brandon Speight
"I lived off daggett ave for the first 28 years of my life. Its an average urban area nothing special. The bike path to slater park wad pretty nice for walks with the dog. "
  • James Daniels
"Always have Sunday gatherings with neighbors after church. Wonderful, loving community that is a family "
  • Jon Lamothe
"Easy commute to providence, but I wish there was an easier way onto 95 south without going through residential streets"
  • Trulia User
"It's a very clean neighborhood, very quiet, very safe, close to everything, very close to the parks "
  • Jadeon76
"It’s a very nice peaceful neighborhood, the downside is there are no side walks. Also not a lot of property for a large dog to run on as the houses are close together."
  • Chrisangel26
"My neighborhood is very family and pet friendly. I feel very safe. Neighbors are very friendly, There are plenty of restaurants and shopping near by. The schools have fantastic teachers. "
  • Michellega21
"The families, friendly neighbors, yards, trees, schools, nearby shops and less than a mile to Route 95 N/S."
  • Chrisangel26
"Very safe area to walk by yourself, with your family or friends or your dog. I feel safe walking any time of day, all through out the year. "
  • Chrisangel26
"Nice neighborhood to safely walk your dog with the family or by yourself even at night any time of year. Neighbors are very friendly. "
  • Jeanne F
"This area has very easy access to 95 along with a close commuter rail service. Commute to work just outside of Boston for me is generally 40 minutes. "
  • vose_c
"I've lived here for 50 years. The character of the neighborhood has changed from owners, to renters. Nobody talks to each other anymore. Violent crimes are common. Slater Park lost all of its large animals due to neglect. The PawSox are leaving in one year. The city's largest employer - Hasbro - is leaving. The city's local hospital - Memorial - closed down 2 years ago. Famous local restaurants have mostly closed, only to be replaced by a "dollar store." The city is in serious decline, with property values certain to follow."
  • Unspecified
"The community events that make my neighborhood special is halloween, trick or treating.Christmas and all holidays"
  • Dave L.
"Not a lot of open spaces for dogs to run around. Roads are no busy so you can walk them throughout the entire neighborhood. "
  • Jadeon76
