    • Jim Motley
"Great area and schools for kids not much in the way of neighborhood restaurants mostly chains fast growing area with many new neighborhoods and some issues with traffic during work commute "
    • Flameshifter
"You see people waking their dogs all the time. It's also a very private neighbor hood. Not to far from the veterans park either. "
    • Awj4473
"Well worth the commute. Not really country living but a very close nit community. My family loves it here and I do as well."
    • Shelby K.
"my neighborhood is close to 2 grocery stores, a couple dollar stores, and some fast food restaurants. "
    • Pamela J.
"HOA sucks in this neighborhood. Neighbors seem to be friendly but do seem distant. It’s about 40 miles to Bham"
    • Mallary O.
"we have great neighbors. it's a quiet neighborhood for the most part and trick or treating is always a hit."
    • Ellen
"It’s quiet here except for the trains. The city has a 20-30 million dollar sports complex as well as several smaller parks. The school system is nice and most neighborhoods seem well cared for. "
    • Ellen
"We have a 20 million dollar sports complex that is almost finished. Movie nights in the park are held a few times in the fall. The Strawberry Festival is once a year and the schools are outstanding. Our city just won a grant to improve the older section of downtown and when the new bridge is finished the commercial area will certainly bring in more retailers. "
    • Taylor
"The Interstate is very close, but the traffic on the interstate into Birmingham is terrible. Especially early in the morning and getting home in the evening. "
    • Lisa
" Our family and I have lived here for 3 years and we love it! Neighbors are great, community oriented. Major Stores/Restaurants and highway are conveniently located less than 2 miles away."
    • Doris H. W.
"This is a beautiful area, golf course make it so peaceful. Seems an ideal place. I would love to love in this neighborhood."
    • Emailelizabeth
"Highest rated elementary school in the county. Great sports complex. Growing community. 30 min to Birmingham. "
    • Ldsmith0714
"Traffic is usually heavy on the free way so allow extra travel time. There can be traffic any given day or time "
    • Capollan
"It’s awful because of the traffic on 31 and i65. The lights aren’t synced properly, and the construction make traffic awful."
    • Capollan
"We also have a community pool, but the HOA is terrible and makes people pay $12 for a card to get access to the pool. It was shut down the last couple of weeks of the summer. Yet they still hung giant signs claiming this is a pool community. The HOA doesn’t make everyone mow. The house next to us went Without being mowed for over 2 months, and they only mowed half the back yard. It’s ridiculous. There are huge pot holes all throughout the neighborhood and people speed through our neighborhood. The stop signs are faded and need to be replaced. I don’t recommend living here. "
    • kimberlywilliams201
"It’s a great family town. The crime rate is low. The schools are good, great parks, and just a good sense of community."
    • Uncipapa
"Depending on time of day. Current road construction slows traffic. otherwise not bad compared to metro area."
    • Uncipapa
"we all moved in approximately the same time. we have watched the family's grow & kids leave the nest. we've had new families, young couples & retirees. we all look out for each other."
    • Kello036
"It’s not. It’s a HOA community that’s made up of cheaply built homes stuck out in the middle of no where. "
    • Aymcgrew
"they seem to like it very well. they would like the space they had to run around in. they would love the park and all the kids that's in the neighborhood. "
    • Richard B.
"It’s great because it’s so diverse in its homeownership. It’s also the perfect location because it’s so close to restaurants and grocery stores."
    • Jennifer V.
"I've lived here for about one year, all the neighbors are super friendly, it's quiet, however there is not much to do as far as entertainment."
