7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBCES has always had a great reputation, but fear its being deteriorated by current administration. The core principals, interactions & leadership from teachers & counselors are excellent despite limitations placed on them by their leader. Parents work really hard where they can, but are not encouraged by this administration to participate in the school's success. A leadership change is greatly needed in order to divert the current trend of decline.Parent Review4y ago - Eastside High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI walked in too the school on my second day just to get dress coded and was told i couldn’t continue with my day until my mom brought me another pair of jeans, my mom was at work. I’m tired of all this about girls getting dress coded cause boys can’t see females legs.Student Review2y ago - Northwood Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!These teachers don’t care and most the time are bad at teaching then they blame their students. Also this is school is not safe people who do things that aren’t that bad get punished but when something serious actually happens like a kid threatening to shoot up the school they barely do anything (real example btw). Also there’s a huge problem with bullying here and most of the time nothing gets done about it.Student Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 116 Buckingham Way.

"I grew up in Taylors, and I moved back here 2 years ago. It’s safe, it’s quiet, and it’s close to Greenville, Spartanburg, and Asheville. Lots of old trees, and the schools are some of the best Publix schools in the state. However, in the last 15 years or so, traffic has increased but the infrastructure hasn’t grown with it, and which can make getting around frustrating. (In addition, home prices have begun to exceed their actual value in our little town. I’ll be moving away from my hometown, sadly, because I can’t afford to buy what I would like to have here. If you can afford it, it’s a lovely place to live.)"

"Good place to walk, though there are steep hills and no sidewalks. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of mature trees, older homes (late 1960s and 1970s), close to Greenville and Spartanburg."
- Lenora S.

"I can be in downtown Greer in five minutes, enjoying one of the many local, low-key events, like the Food Truck Rollout, that are fun, family friendly and almost free. Or, I can drive 15 minutes and be in Downtown Greenville for bigger events, endless options for culinary and cultural diversions. Taylors is just perfectly located between the peachshed, Glassy Mountain, great shopping and something wonderful to eat. "
