There are a couple/few dedicated and wonderful teachers here, (Mr. Knaggs is one), but overall I've had to pull my child out of this school completely and he/she will never be back. There is a dire need for an alternative school here to say the least. I have never seen SO much bullying, and not just by students but at least 1-2 teachers as well. UNACCEPTABLE! Forget looking a little different or not being a 'normy' because you will automatically be put in a category of being a constant target, punching bag both mentally and physically and the bullies continue to be able to go to the school. If you didn't grow up here, have a parent that works in the school, or happen to have ANY LD's God help you and your kid if you send them here. Communication via teachers is almost non-existent, dress codes are not adhered to and bad behavior gets you a 'vacation' from classes. Truly one of the worst schools I've ever, regrettably, sent my child to!

I love that: ALL staff members interact with EVERY student on a first name level, the grades seamlessly integrate during class & recess, the Principal exhaults a tone of respect and admiration toward the staff creating a contagious social lesson for students, & stem activities are frequent, increasing student knowledge of daily life activities in a fun way...for example my student learned about and how to make flour during an activity this week.

Valley View has Teachers that truly care about students.
