I completed this review with my child who attend this school. We are an African American family (Black-1%) that attends this school. The racial slurs and and discrimination are impacting my child's social and emotional well-being. The way in which the school handles these situations are minimal and often empowering to the students that are saying the mean and hurtful comments. The leadership at the school is either not equip to handle these situations or just don't care since the majority is in their image. Aside from the racial and discriminatory issues that plague the school, environment and community it's teachings are up to par.

I appreciated all the great work that the teachers and staff put toward the student. My child had a wonderful experience and went up two grade levels for reading in 5th grade.

I have had two children attend LWW. The majority of the staff were a pleasure to deal with. However the principal , Monica Schmidt, was not. She treated any communication with her as an annoyance. She did not want to deal with a parent with a request, question or issue .
