Description

Beautifully maintained and ready to go home in Beaver Grove in a super quiet and friendly neighborhood. This manufactured home has been impeccably loved both inside and out and has the right amount of space for a young family, retired couple looking for all one level living or maybe a single person. Great hardwood floors in the massive size kitchen which is the focal point and gathering spot within this home. So. Much. Room in this kitchen! The laundry room and back entrance is conveniently located off the kitchen with a nice size area for the dining room. There are 2 living rooms also so one could be a large formal dining room if needed. The master is a great size with ceiling fan, huge walk in closet and beautiful master bath. The other 2 bedrooms are located at the opposite end of the home and feature their own full bathroom also. The deck off the back of the home has a "catio" for the family felines that can stay or go. The backyard is so huge and private! The current owner feeds the birds and there is always wildlife roaming the woods behind. Sometimes up to 50 deer at a time during the winter months! The Big Creek is directly behind this property and although there is not Creek frontage the land owner behind has always allowed for hiking and woods enjoyment. The 2 car garage plus the 10 X 10 shed offer loads of storage too! Well insulated and cheap to heat in the winter plus the central air for the occasional hot summer days.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.

"This city is full of nature, adventure, and excitement! Hiking, kayaking, walking around downtown listening to live music in the summer. These are a few of the many incredible things to do in Marquette. The U.P. Has a very loyal culture and many diverse peoples due to being a college town. "
  • Brittany B.
"Close to the high school, hospital, and the university! Quiet neighborhood, and a great neighborhood to live in!"
  • Setonsieracki
"Commute around town is simple. I typically walk to and from in colder weather. When warm out I bike. Only drive when time is limited or the distance is greatest. Great town NOT to drive."
  • Zack D.
"All of Marquette is very dog friendly. There’s a dog park nearby and tons of trails. Many people in town have dogs. "
  • Cali H.
"Everyone seems dog friendly. However, in apartments, not a lot of yardage to run the dogs! But there are dog friendly parks and lots of trails in Marquette which is good. "
  • Emilly L.
"People drive really fast so you have to make sure your dog doesn’t accidentally get loose. The side walks are nice for walking your pet and people seem friendly."
  • Unknown N.
"Marquette is these biggest city in the area. It acts as for the Center for government in Michigan in the UP. For that reason it seems bigger than it really is. The education and healthcare in the area is outstanding."
  • Bammert70
"There are lots of other dogs, mainly pitbulls, but they are friendly. there are many younger kids that will run around and play with the dogs if they are out. "

  • Lizpaepke
"I am just visiting it is beautiful up here. Love the lake cute downtown area. Good sidewalks for walking good beach area"
  • Shannon D.
"I've lived here for about 10 years. it's a large neighborhood and we're at the very end of I've side so we only have 2 immediate neighbors. I know a few other people in the neighborhood from birding interests. "
  • SSulskis
    "Nice quiet clean community"
  • dperlove
"This is a safe neighborhood, well maintained properties, nestled into the foothills of Marquette Mountain. Some lots abut a green strip with frequent sightings of deer and a variety of migratory birds during the summer months. Downtown is more than a short walk but is a reasonable bike ride away (warm months). Otherwise public transport is available from the front door. Snow plowing is excellent on Altamont and you can always get out during winter if you keep the foot of your driveway clear. Marquette has just the right amount of tourism to support a variety of sporting events and festivals during all seasons but not so much tourism that it feels like a congested bigger tourist area like Traverse City. There are a least three local micro-brewries, several good restaurants, and always entertainment, especially on weekends. Marquette is growing just enough to support continuous improvements and developments of its parks and attractions and there are at least two (three star type) hotels and along with a number of nice chain hotels for visitors. Downtown becomes almost magical in the wintertime with its snow-capped sandstone facades and "lit-up" trees. Being situated on a bay of Lake Superior makes Marquette one the the most picturesque small towns in the Midwest. "
