9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is doing so many amazing things for students and the community at large, but I want to take a moment to specifically talk about Coach Lenny Krebs and the girls basketball program. I currently have a fifth grader who is just getting started with basketball, so you may wonder why I would be writing a review on the high school basketball program! I was shocked as well. This past year my daughter has participated in a girls 3-on-3 basketball clinic and a Travel Basketball program. Being new to the Warsaw program, we didn't know what to expect really...In both of these offerings, Coach Lenny Krebs and others from the High School Basketball program personally provide support and coaching to these students. This includes fifth grade through eight grade students throughout the school district. What an incredible investment into these future students. As a parent, I've attended observed several of these sessions and have been very impressed at the quality of coaching and support being offered. My daughter has drastically improved due to Coach Krebs and the other dedicated individuals. Thank you Warsaw High School for investing in the future students in your community, this is awesome to see, and we are so thankful for being able to participate!Parent Review4mo ago21 Reviews - Edgewood Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a student at Edgewood and I haven’t had a singular good experience. Teachers will lie to you. They say at the beginning of the year stuff along the lines of “You won’t have homework unless you don’t finish classwork,” though this is completely false. I have maybe had a week out of the entire school year where I have not had anything to do after school. I live on a very tight schedule and it’s usually very hard to fit in the 1-2 hours of homework every night while also getting 8+ hours of sleep (i’m getting a maximum of 7). A lot of teachers are extremely passive aggressive to students and also very hard to listen to because they are always yelling throughout all of their classes, regardless of whether their class is good or bad. They also recently took away students study hall period because we had too many missing assignments. Some students don’t have time after school, so how will missing assignments and grades improve when you are taking away the only time some students have to get work done? The school prioritizes memorization and grades and does not care about actual learning with students and focusing on their mental health. Everyone talks about “No students left behind” but the idea is basically gone. Teachers aren’t very aware of students knowledge in material. Staff also will talk about kids behind their backs and make rude remarks. They also seem to not care at all about bullying because there are fights happening every other day. Just a reminder to be careful choosing a school. Popularity doesn’t always matter when choosing one. To them it’s just a race to see who can be the top grade school.Student Review1mo ago5 Reviews - Washington Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have gone to Washington for their entire elementary education and have truly enjoyed it. They thrive with the hands on experiences and are presented with new experiences. They have gained skills and knowledge that will be useful for years to come.Parent Review1y ago73 Reviews - Check out schools near 115 E Tyner St.

"I walk my dogs every day, overall pretty dog friendly neighborhood. However some people have their dogs off leash which I don't like, as that is triggering for my dogs. "

"Our neighborhood is fairly quiet and near walking paths. Neighbors are caring but not nosy and it’s an extremely pleasant place to live. We’ve been here four years and are only moving due to work."

"There are many good schools in the area with great teaching staffs. Plenty of parks to take kids to, that have numerous outings year round. There are kid friendly things to do down in the village in Winona lake. The fireworks down at Winona lake are a great activity for the family in July. The Christmas lights at center lake in December are a great place to take a family and wonderful environment to take pictures as a family. "

"We have free music concerts every summer, all summer long. We have a fall parade supporting the high school, team sports, and other extracurricular activities. This is only a few special things about our community."

"Shadow Lakes is the nicest community we could find in Kosciusko county and Warsaw. The neighborhood has 2 spring fed lakes and several ponds, all stocked. Sidewalks are 4 feet wide, streets are easy to walk around and the neighbors are great. Common areas are well kept. The neighborhood is filled with beautiful homes, and only about a 10 minute drive to downtown Warsaw."
