7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageas a student here i see a lot of things including the teachers and the look and everything else. the teachers mostly get hated on if they are too strict and annoying. like an example is if they don’t let you have breaks on block days when you have to sit down for two hours straight, not even let you have water without having to leave, and yelling at you for no reason. the bathrooms are pretty gross, people do random things in there and write things and throw toilet paper on the ceiling. kids can be really annoying in passing periods and the sixth graders like to yell and be annoying. some kids can be nice but others can just be mean and just rude for no reason, that’s not the schools fault it’s just my experience from here. they do try to promote good things but it doesn’t do anything and the school and the people are the same after all they try to do. but there are some good teachers that you can vibe with and don’t hand out a lot of home work and make the class fun and easy to where u can actually learn without pain.Student Review7mo ago - Mt. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school environment has changed recently. Some downward shift. This was one of the most relaxed and academically strong schools. A welcoming school for all POCs etc etc but I don't know if I can say the same anymore, unfortunately.Parent Review6mo ago - Rolling Hills Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy ASD son goes to a mainstream Kindergarten class in this school and unfortunately he is not getting the support he needs to succeed. Even though he has no behavior issues he doesn't know how to initiate play with peers so he is basically left alone during recess time. His private therapist went for an observation and saw him sitting by himself a table away from the group and even though adults were present nobody attempted to interact with him or encourage him to sit with peers. The observation happened on the day of the week he is supposedly getting social skills support during recess time from the counselor aide.On another occasion my husband and I drove by the school and saw him trying to get into the spring ride of the playground when another kid was on it. We then witnessed one of the school staff members grabbing him by the hand and ask him to sit alone on a bench. He was left sitting by himself for the remainder of the recess. We have brought this situation up to his case manager and to the principal but nothing gets done supposedly because they are short staffed. I am extremelly unhappy with how little inclusive this school is.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 11449 Almazon St.
