This cozy blue house is quietly tucked away behind a larger street-facing house as part of a duplex. The front (yellow) house is inhabited by the owners and their two kids (ages 8 and 11). The rental house is accessed through a side gate and a peaceful, shared garden, with a patio, fruit trees, a raised bed, and a fire pit.

The neighborhood is awesome! It has a walk score of 99, yet the house is still relatively quiet and hidden from the street. Within 1-2 blocks you will find a post office, a library, coffee shops, several grocery stores, and many restaurants and bars. The house is caddy corner from the West Campus city pool, which has lap swim reservations. It is a 5-minute walk to a transbay bus stop and a 12-minute walk to the North Berkeley BART station.

Seeking tenants who are looking for a stable home and can commit to a one-year lease (and hopefully stay longer). Kids are a possibility, though you may find the space a little too small over time. Ideal tenants would be communal-minded and open to sharing space and friendly interaction with the owners' family next door. They would be responsible, financially stable, and interested in taking good care of the house. No smoking.
