Allemands has been a blessing to all three of my children. I have two girls there now, One is in second grade and one is in first grade. My older son went there also. The teachers are excellent and really care about the welfare of the students. Parents love to volunteer and Allemands has a great Reading Recovery Program that helped my son when he was in first grade and helped my daughter last year when she was in first grade. Sandra Zeller is one of the best secretaries at any of the schools around this area. St Charles Parish has high expectations at all schools.

I do not recommend working at this school as a teacher or any other professional. Discipline problems are swept to a corner and go no further than the administration’s desk. You will not be allowed to voice your own professional opinion on any matter. Only a few do the work of so many. There is a reason they offer incentives to stay or apply for a position. That’s always a red flag at a school. The current administration operates with gaslighting techniques and not a fair exchange of ideas. Students who have more intellectual pursuits are completely overlooked in favor of those in sports. The special ed students are given regular ed teachers on paper only. Teachers are forced to attend IEP meetings for special ed students they never even met, and forced to sign documents regarding these students. Another red flag? Hahnville High is a classic toxic work environment.

Pretty average. Teachers are cool but some of the people that are bullied nothing is done about it.

My son Cole attended RJ Vial from 3-6th grade. He was the last 6th grade class RJ had. He stayed on Honorol for all three years. The teachers are caring and the counselor helped my son so much in the three years he attended RJ. The staff is great and parent volunteering is awesome at RJ. I can't wait until my first and second graders move over to this school.
